SWEET

Happy Valentine's Day!
(tomorrow)

The hubs and I went out Saturday while he was in town. We went to a newer restaurant
that we had not tried yet. It was great. We later braved the cold and wind and
walked ran to the theater around the corner to see Safe House.
Our mild weather turned very bitter over the weekend.
It was just nice to sit in a theater. We like going to movies
and just had not had the time to go see something since Christmas.

#3 spent a lot of time over the weekend making cookies for her friends.
She made sugar cookies from scratch
and then made several batches of royal icing in different shades of pink and red
and also white.
She decorated each one of them, swirling the different shades together.

I have been so tempted to sneak one or two (or three or four),
but I have not. I have been trying so hard to undo all of the bad things
I did over the holidays.

Tonight, we boxed them all up and they are ready for the middle of the lunch table tomorrow.

#3 loves to bake and do crafts.
She is loving Home Ec in school, they are learning to sew right now
She is so excited about her pj pants!
Mini Martha?

xoxo

Those are darling!

I didn't know schools were still offering Home Ec! I loved that class. Even though I received an A-for my apron project. Ha.

For some reason my comment didn't show up. (or else I will have two lol) Those cookies would never make it out of the house and that it why I don't ever make them now.
I had to laugh at the comment that you left on my post. Don't you think that when you hit the 25th anniversary, everything in the house and your wardrobe should be completely replaced! I think I have way to much time on my hands since I have drawn up plnas for every room in my house as well as the pool area and landscaping. My husband has been nice and accomidating to a point but, I can see him rolling his eyes to himself every time he sees my list ha!
