TOP TEN REASONS WHY I HAVEN'T BEEN BLOGGING

Dear Friends,

I am still here!!
I have taken a little computer break (from everything).
I needed to do some catching up on other things.
My list runneth over.

Thank you to all of you that have sent me emails and looked for me.
My heart runneth over!

I have a gazillion reasons why I haven't been on the computer in weeks,
but have tried to compile a list of the top ten.

So here they are....

The Top Ten Reasons Why I Haven't Been Blogging

10. There are two dogs living in the house that needed to learn what is a chew toy and what is not. I have the Lilly shoes to prove it! :(

 9.  I have been prepping and planning for our annual soccer party that is at our house every year. It was on Sunday. Sixteen families were here and every inch of our yard was used as well as the garage and the downstairs of our house.

 8.  The cedar closet HAD to be purged. It was a week long project. I removed everything and went through every storage bin. I took eight lawn size bags to Goodwill when I was finished and said a painful good-bye to some of my favorite school projects the girls have done over the years. Venus the Godess of Love is now the Queen of the Landfill.

  7.  Yard work. Planted all of my summer flowers, scrubbed my front porch furniture, weeded, mulched       and made many trips to my favorite nursery. ( Had a deadline.... the soccer party.)

  6.  Needed to introduce myself to the gym....again. I am still not sure we are going to get along. The weight I have gained since my mom died makes me feel ugly and sluggish. (Key word there is SLUG)

  5.  I had a few unusual and questionable comments left on my blog and I wasn't sure exactly what to do about them and so I fled and did nothing.

  4. If my dog was going to drink out of the toilets, I guess they needed to be clean.

  3. Two college girls showed up at my house with  bags, suitcases, bins, boxes and carloads of their     things on the same day. We are still sorting through things and organizing.

  2. Two of favorite college girls showed up at my house ! :)

  1. May is the new December!!

I am chugging right along and am trying to get back on track. I hope you are all well and happy. I am so thankful you haven't given up on me. Life sometimes gets in the way of the things we love.
So,
 how are you doing
and
what have you been up to?

xoxo,

Lisa

I have missed you, Lisa, but I totally understand. Your plate has been a bit full, to say the least. We all have times that we need to step back and get other things in order in our lives, despite the fact that we love our blogging so much. I have come to the realization that it just can't all be done. Something has to give somewhere. I know you will love having your girls home for the summer. My college girl is home too, and things are a bit crazy around here still, too. I am hoping to make some headway over the weekend in my house. I don't think the word "caught up" is in my vocabulary any more. I'm with you on the exercising. I hate to exercise, but I am trying to walk each day. I do enjoy that a lot. I'm sure everybody else is glad to have you back. The blog world moves on... I am amazed at the folks who are able to blog each day. I just post when I can fit it in to my schedule and try not to stress about it. After all, we are doing this for fun, aren't we? Have a great weekend! Love & blessings from NC!

Lisa you have been missed! What a great feeling getting everything done...now you can sit back and enjoy the summer with the girls. I'm joining WW as soon as I move back to USA I don't even recognize myself. Have a wonderful weekend.

It really makes me sad when I hear about questionable comments being made. You do not have a platform here for folks to debate, you simply share bits of your life. You do not go and solicit people to read your blog, you just share. If they dont like, they need to please move on to something that suits them better. Sorry, it really does upset me. Hope you have a great weekend.

So great to see you back...I have had a December May as well : ) You seem like you've accomplished a lot more than me though. Except for the feeling sluggish part...I'm neck and neck with you there : )

I know they bring a lot of stuff but I'm glad you have your girls home. I wish mine were home for the summer too.

Sorry you had 'comments', but I'm glad to see you're back here. I might be down your way mid July ish...I will let you know...it would be fun to meet in person. Have a great weekend!

You are too funny Lisa! First, I'm green with envy that you have a cedar closet. They're one of my favorite things and I gave up the one in this house to make room for a washer/dryer in my bedroom. Second, Tam is right. Don't know what kind of comments you had, but it just baffles me that people waste time writing idiotic comments. Really, people...get a life! Could someone also please explain the ones in Chinese?! They seem to show up on every post. Grrr!

Glad you're back and that you have all your babies under one roof for a while. That must be a great feeling.

I have always considered May and December on equal levels of busyness...I had my soccer party last week and basically did the exact same thing...scrubbing, weeding, planting....
My college girl came home last week and has been in my back pocket since ( a good thing, but took some adjusting)...all the sorority house stuff ended up on my kitchen floor...

Glad you are back....

I figured you were drowning in LIFE.
I love a deadline to get motivated to get things done. My next few weeks will be just that! Mr. 18's graduation is quickly approaching and pretty much simultaneously the big ones will be home and we will depart for vacation! Whew, makes me tired thinkin' about it.
See, aren't you lucky you're all done!
Welcome Back!

I thought about you on Mother's Day and thought you might be a little *down* and staying away from blogging.

Good grief, just a FEW of those reasons are enough to keep you away! I remember those busy, busy kinds of days!

I started getting those blog comments that *seemed* like they were someone I knew. They referenced things that made it seem so *personal*. Don't worry, it is just some lonely person I suppose. I did start *comment moderation*. It runs them off. They are looking for attention!

Glad you are back!

Who in the world would leave you questionable comments!?! I haven't experienced any rude comments thank goodness but I did have a lady that copied a post and even used my exact words. I debated and debated on what to do about it and ended up sending her an email. She apologized profusely and changed the wording in her post. As fun as blogging is, I guess it does have it's moments.

I'm so glad to see you back blogging. You certainly have been missed and thought about often.

We're in Phoenix visiting my college girl...who is now a senior! She is moving into another apartment in August and of course, wanted and needed mom and dad to check everything out first. We'll be here for a few days soaking up the AZ sun.

Enjoy your girls, enjoy your freshly planted summer flowers, and don't forget to relax! You've been on the go for months!
