BACK FROM THE BEACH

We spent some time out of town the past few weeks.

We got home Sunday and are still trying to get back into synch.
The girls and I went to stay with my dad for a few days for his birthday and then the entire
Party of Five went to the beach for a week.

We had a great time spending time together and I am so glad that everyone was able to go.  #2 will be going back to school this weekend so summer will be nothing other than a memory in just a few short days. I cannot believe that three months have gone by.
Time flies.

Here are some things I will be remembering:

#2's hair-do on the way to beach. She made a lot of people laugh as we passed them.
(We were in a hurry!) :)

The wonderful canal house...

and the wonderful canal views.

The lazy afternoons.

Family game nights.

Catching up with family.

Dinners out.

Dinners in.

The full moon.

The BF1.

Pictures on the roof.

Rocking on the roof.

This little lady who makes me laugh with her wisecracks
and makes me feel good with her random hugs.

This little lady and her giggle.

This little lady and her constant enthusiasm for everything.

It was hard packing up and heading back home knowing that the next week would be full of
a lot of college and back to school planning. I am at my best and feeling my best with my girls around me. The rest of this week I will squeezing in as much family time as I can.
I hope to get back on the blogging track soon.

Lisa, it looks like you all had a wonderful time at the beach. Your girls are so beautiful!! And I'm with you about the summer ending. I hate the thoughts of giving up my time with my daughter, who has been home for the summer. I love my time with my girls. (Although my oldest is married)
Enjoy the rest of your week. Love & blessings from NC!

I just love a beach vacation and I agree...I am slightly off kilter without my girls home. I saw mine for a quick day and a half this past week and it was so nice. Looks like you all had lots of fun!

Good luck with all the re-settling into college/apts/etc. We do a lot of packing, buying, hauling, un-packing, more buying and more hauling don't we?
