The Hubby grew up with german shepards so to agree to a lap thing took awhile.
I have exactly 1 year left until we are empty nesters and I'm thinkin' this could be a problem. Although Joyce's idea of having #1 or #2 dog sit is a good one.
Those dogs are so cute!Carrie Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01819737721881821638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5580349557603489858.post-77156119518070748112009-09-29T11:16:08.525-04:002009-09-29T11:16:08.525-04:00I feel your loss, hope you will get another one ev...I feel your loss, hope you will get another one eventually!

Lovely blog.Slices of Beauty...https://www.blogger.com/profile/03064009884069198261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5580349557603489858.post-65519853564586259832009-09-29T10:21:05.937-04:002009-09-29T10:21:05.937-04:00My hubby and I are thinking (dreaming) along the s...My hubby and I are thinking (dreaming) along the same lines. We still have 4 1/2 years to go, and one spoiled cat and two obnoxious beagles left to break our hearts one day. The last pup and Mr. Bubbles are adorable! Can't wait to see which one you choose (you know you're gonna!).Teehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12681629600576488888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5580349557603489858.post-9594987848725955552009-09-29T10:07:26.131-04:002009-09-29T10:07:26.131-04:00You need a dog! We started boarding her early and she absolutely loves the kennel here. Jumps right out of the car and walks right on in...I almost think I could let her out in the parking lot : )

Plus, when your #3 goes off to college you'll appreciate the company too...I love walking into my house and knowing its not completely empty. In 5 1/2 years if you want to travel you could probably leave the dog with #1 or #2 to babysit and not even worry about kennels and boarding, etc.Joycehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16727615822243830106noreply@blogger.com
